G’day, I’m Nick! Born and raised on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, I’ve always believed Queensland is the best state in Australia — and I’m pretty excited to show you why.

I’ve been running tours for years, including adventures over in Western Australia, but creating my own tours here in Queensland has been a dream of mine for more than a decade. Camping, living off-grid, and exploring the outdoors has always been my passion, and now I get to share it with travellers from all over the world.

After backpacking across most of the globe and even living in Canada for two years, I realised it was time to come home and show people my Australia — the hidden gems, the wild landscapes, and the authentic side of adventure you don’t always find on the usual backpacker trail.

Adventure Mates isn’t just another tour. I’ve designed it to feel inclusive, fun, adventurous, and safe. It’s about more than ticking sights off a list — it’s about laughs, disconnecting from the noise, and creating real connections. My mission is simple: for you to leave with memories and friendships that you’ll carry for the rest of your life.
